I don't do much people hauling, so the full size 2nd door isn't reallynecessary; extended cab is perfect, though I won't turn down the larger backseat if it's close to the same price and looks as usable.
Really, the shorter bed really is probably all I need, and will probably serve to be more common, better manueverability, and just as practical. I'd just be worried about losing wheelbase and the trailer telling the truck what to do.
Current definites:
-diesel
-250 good, 350 better, neither is a deal breaker
-no dually
-shorter bed
Options and considerations:
-extended vs. double cab
-Ford 7.3
-van or truck body
Chan, I agree on the ambulance, and a "short bus" would also be very cool. I've even convinced Linds on the "short bus", but I think I want to deal with that project later and just want a truck for now.
