wow, was not expecting to be at 2 pages already :-). I'm kinda happy that I can go ahead and eliminate the new Tundra. I think it could pull it off, but it'd be a stretch. Not to mention that I'm not crazy about dropping 40k for something I know I don't want to DD. Don't worry Chan, I've been thinking on this a long time.
As I said before, I really wasn't even considering a gasser, so I'm glad everybody agrees and is on the same page. I'm also feeling that the dually would be overkill, as well as a pain in the ass. I don't want a 4-door cab, I really like the extended cab like on RJ and Pete's truck, although I can't decide on the short or long bed, as I must say I really like my 8-ft bed sometimes. What about the option of auto or manual? The idea of the van is cool, I'll look into that.
I like the 7.0 option, as it will be on a slightly older truck and therefore cheaper. Being that it's more better, it won't be so hard to convince Linds to get a slightly older one. What did the Ford 7.3 come in?
What would be the difference between a 250 and 350?
Current definites:
-diesel
-no dually
-extended, not double, cab
Options and considerations:
-short or long bed
-250, 350
-Ford 7.0, Ford 7.3
-van or truck body
Give me more feedback on the Dodge and GM options. Continue discussion!
