The stuff w/ the high returns are all stock based, which is what I classify as the 'aggressive' investments. We have 3 others that are recommend for those getting ready to retire (like stable value funds/etc), but at my age they recommend staying in the aggressive funds in order to make these kinds of returns, I have the possibility of making a negative return as well. That's only happened once and it was a few years ago, in the past year I don't think it ever went below 4% though.
