Maybe if you are investing for retirement. Some people day trade to make profit, which isn't long term but requires you to know A LOT about the current market. Which is why I'm not playing, I don't care enough. I reallocate my 401k every month based off a spread sheet a few coworkers put together with all our funds and base the next months projections off momentum scores. It's pretty damn good as I'm seeing about 8-12% return each month.
