Sorry, I'm just not sure of your point.
You say yourself you'd get pictures of a competitor's house if you knew yours was better.
If GM really has faith in their product, this is a fine move. It's like Progressive's commercials where they're all like "We'll get you the lowest rate, even if it's not with us."
