Chrysler goes private?

GM as an entity has turned 2 consecutive profitable quarters but their GMAC wing lost its ass on sub-prime loans. All in all, I'm digging a bunch of new GM products. Ford sucks ass but at least they show evidence of the ability to build quality cars e.g. Ford Europe. All the rags that have driven the European Focuses, Kaa and Mondeo rave about their quality and good looks. Where as Chrysler can't build a damn thing that is remotely appealing to me. They are breathing off the fumes of yesteryear with the BS Hemi ad campaign, generic designs and recycling of classic name plates.

I will concede that the interior of my friends Charger SRT-8 is rather nice.
