I've also had the problem of stuff disappearing, not necessarily the club's, b/c I have a tendency of forgetting who I have let borrow stuff. The new policy I think I'm going to adopt is that I will loan stuff out for a fee, to be placed in an envelope with that person's name and item, to be returned when the owner when I get my stuff back.
My current policy is don't lend shit out. All to often I'll let someone borrow something then low and behold I'll need it the next day.
