Clemson's club is very integrated with their academics, since they have a substantial Motorsports Engineering program.
Other schools have a FSAE program, which is something JMU is sorely lacking (but at least we build solar cars.......)
i agree about the motorsports club part, didn't really think about the distinction. I wish JMU was more of a technical school, but i'll take what i can get, i love the atmosphere and classes there. I feel that our motorsports club has an incredible amount of passion for the sport considering that we do not have most of the academic ciriculum supporting the club.
