Otherwise, awful deal. It makes me kind of nervous hearing all the bickering about insurance and losing the venue, and such. I'm certainly not ready to write off my car at this point.
*Do not park your car near the course
*Do not run a course you think is dangerous. If you encounter a dangerous course make sure your bring it up with the organizers
*Do not drive outside the limits of your skills/car
We've been to dozens and dozens of autocrosses and there's an accident at maybe one out of 50, if that. The chances of you getting in accident are pretty low.
