On a side note to kaan - I thought DC just overturned the ban on firearms in the city? I know you still can't carry - but I think you can at least have them in your house..or maybe that's not in effect yet because it got so many appeals after they overturned it...but they'd almost have to let you have them in your car if that's the case, for transport to/from places.
