Jeff, I was impressed by the van. So was the guy driving it on the dyno, from the look on his face. Also the gap on your plugs could have had a little to do with the rich a/f mixture, even though at WOT you're going to be dumping extra fuel anyway. If you want some help with cam timing, let me know, its not all that hard to learn.
I'll agree It probably was the transmission slipping, it didn't make any sense until I actually thought about it.
Channing, I'm sure your car wasn't as bad as the Miata we dynoed when I was at nascar tech, or the cup cars we did. I think it echoed a lot more in the dyno room down there too.
Either way, it was great to watch the dyno pulls, even though I missed the heavy hitters.
