I went up a wheel size so I think there definitely was one. I wouldn't say the stockers are bad but we all know what going up a wheel size can do for you. It also had the OEM tires when I got it (Bridgestones?) so I went from a decent amount of wear to uber-all seasons at the same time. I probably dropped $2200 on the upgrade but I don't regret it at all.
