its all good, dont worry bout it. its gotta be dry by tomorrow anyway for VIR. i havent checked it yesterday but by the time i check it today, it'll have had a solid 48 hours to dry. i think my mistake was the base coat being too thick. i figured i had thinned it out enough but after applying it, it was definitely more "goopy" than i thought. i really thinned it down a lot after that. if its dry, i may just sand it down fairly evenly so it looks decent for this weekend then continue to add smoother coats when i get back.
