Well, this car's mine now. It started life as mine, I sold it to Rex, missed it, and bought it back :-D
.. and it's never skipped a beat.
I threw a CEL over the first really big snow day NOVA had, though. I pulled the code (this is the first CEL in 180,000 miles that this car has ever had).
EVIL LIGHT!
The code was o2 sensor - great. On an hunch I checked the wiring to the sensor [background: the car has an aftermarket header that moved the o2 sensor farther back than OEM and required a pigtail to lengthen the wiring.. it was always a bit too exposed].
See?
And I was greeted with this:
Yep, that would be the problem. I took the picture after I stripped the wires to solder them back together... so no, nobody was playing a joke on me.
I kinda forgot to take pictures of the soldering.. but I think everybody knows what that's like.
All buttoned up and tied away better than before:
I've got all the front end joints and a steering rack to install next.. oh, and this thing that Rex gave me when I got the car back called universal specific mount or some shit.. he thinks it's cool, it looks like it'll hold my iPod pretty well, so in it'll go.
More in the future - no guess on a timeframe, though... two wheel toys are more fun.
*edit* pic links died, removed.

When it comes to Ryan Jenkins, the story ends with me putting him in the wall.
