I only have a few things to add. As for Andy jumping on me on having only gone to one auto-x? Simply because I'm not at the events YOU are at (which seems to just be track events because I haven't seen you at shop tours, our last car show, and only the most recent auto-x) I've been to 11 autocrosses and only missed one Verona one since I became President. Yes I can spot Chris and Laura in a lineup, it's not that hard. I've talked with them more than my fair share of times. Simply because I haven't been to every single track event doesn't mean I'm not doing my part. I don't have that much interest in tracking my car because I don't have the funds to do it, but that doesn't mean I don't love this club with everything I have. And if thats not good enough for you then too bad.
What I'm sick of is all this bitching and moaning about us not being a motorsports club anymore, blah blah blah. It's all I ever hear on this forum and is the primary reason I don't post on here all that much anymore. I still lead the club, organize the events, make sure people know they have rides to the track, but I have a car payment, insurance payment and bills to pay so most of my weekends I have to work at my job. Thats why I'm not at all the Summit events and track events. I still auto-x, do the car show, etc etc.
Again, alumni are never going to be happy with how the students handle the club and the students are never going to be happy with how the alumni look at the club. It's something I've learned to cope with and there's no need for all this. Again, can't we all just get along? It's a college club for God's sake.
