He is the one who greets you. takes your keys, and calls you to say when the car is done or what it needs. They are basically salesmen that deal directly with the customer. They get a percentage of the sale overall

And it's their job to persuade you need brakes, brake fluid, new shocks, new tires, new spark plugs, plug wires, muffler bearings, blinker fluid, and dickwarmer fuses.
