LOL, no. I only sanded it three times with 11 coats, two of which were at the very end. Every spraypaint I've every felt has a very rough texture, though I guess it's possible to spray paint then sand down until it feels smooth. I knew this technique worked though; maybe I'll try the spray on the tailgate or something.
