Schwab, I dont know. I think there might be a $2500 minimum. Cap One is what I use for my emergency fund. I switched from ING since their rates were higher. There's no minimum. No fees. etc. Cap one is at 4.88%. All uninvested money in Schwab gets a similar rate. ING is at 4.5%. Citi is at 4.75%. HSBC is giving 6% apparently on new accounts (i don't know the story on that though).
edit: HSBC is offering no min, no fee 6% until april. Then the rate sits at 5.05%. 4.75% is fine for me. I'm happy with their speed and service. (CapOne)
