I remember hearing about a Toyota diesel almost a year ago. I was nominated to be the diesel tech at work. However, I haven't heard anything for a while now. I think they need one, and I imagine they are working on one.
I don't doubt Toyota or Nissan's Truck building skills now.
I'll admit, the Original Tundra was not at amazing truck, especially when towing, but I think they have learned a lot from their first effort, and will only get better.
