I think this is the technology they're using for the screen, it's alot different that the regular touch screen you're thinking of. Just watch the video you'll understand why a lot of people are so excited about how intuitive it is.
I think that is the same deal w/ the touch screen. I think Hunter said it earlier - I doubt the prices will fall. I'm thinking they will follow the iPod pricing scheme (same price just more memory) My question - does anyone think they will eventually let other wireless providers in ?
For instance, a lot of providers charge $1, $2 or more for ringtones. That's free money to them and maybe they didn't wanna concede that revenue stream.
Perhaps the other providers are adopting a wait and see approach but I think this is gonna put big wind in Cingular's sales. Tell u what though, this is gonna KILL Blackberry. Investors are already starting to dump their stock (down by ~8% today).
