We weren't making light of your loss, but just because the person in front of him was ticketed doesn't mean he wasn't being irresponsible on his motorcycle.
It also didn't make him a bad person, and you would find that sentiment if you read closely. We're all pretty fragile creatures, as things go, and motorcycles are doubly dangerous. Therefore Bruce's story should be given as a warning to be safe and responsible while driving anything. We might be a little harsh because we come so close to it ourselves, but don't judge us by that.
Believe me, we'd all rather these types of accidents didn't happen.
