I don't doubt it at all. The only thing that the PS3 had going for it was that Cell circle jerk bullshit. While I've no doubt that "many hands make light work" Sony and the Cell have got two problems: (as rex sees it)
A: "Many hands make light work" may be true, but I'm not sure that video games, especially the way they're made now are the greatest way to test this and
B: Sony assumes that people will be able to program for that shit. He's probably right, no one probably WILL ever tap the full power of the PS3 because it's too damn hard to get to, and/or has extremely limited applications. I've said that about the Cell & PS3 since the beginning, and I'm all twitterpated now that it's coming true.
Sony can just go ahead and stop making game systems. Let Microsoft eat Nintendo or ooh, an apple/nintendo merger! Emo hippies everywhere orgasm at the thought!
