It seems to me that when you get down to it what you really want to know is if you should keep the IS and if not what should you get. You seem to have made up your mind about the STi and the house. which is great. That aren't you getting out of the IS? Is it not enough sport or not enough luxury. I agree with Rex, I don't think the 350 is worth the added cost of buying a new car (over just keeping the IS300) If you are just tired of the IS and want something new that price range ($35ish I guess) has literaly a bajillion choices, I'm thinking a used E46 M3 would fit your needs perfectly, it may not be 4 doors, but it is plenty "sporty", good looking and luxuious.
