I'll have pics of me tomorrow (on others cameras).
I think I got 8th out of maybe 15-20 in Street Mod. Most of what beat me were M3s (bastards). My first run was a 49.5, I felt I was using too much brake. Second run was 49.4, used less brake but messed up in 2 or 3 spots. Third run, 48.0, felt pretty good but still room for improvement. Final run, 47.0, I was happy but still think I could have dropped more time since I hadn't actually settled in on a time yet... Oh well.
The course was pretty easy, nothing too tight but didn't have to hit 3rd at all. Lots of mid 2nd gear sweepers and not much braking. Understeer wasn't too bad and I almost spun the bad boy on my final run (my fastest), but body roll was owning me in the ~50mph sweepers.
Car ran well, only my 2nd event on the Azenis and they rule. Have a nasty popping noise from my front left suspension. I'm hoping the Buddy Club install fixes whatever that is. Noticed some miniscule cracks on my rotors so I'll be replacing them while I do the suspension next week.
Good lot except for some abrupt elevation changes, I'll definitely be going again.
I also took up 5 novices with me
1. Built GSR hatch, 4 DNFs :?
2. Boosted 99-00 Si, 49.4
3. STS2 Miater, 47.4
4. Bolt-on'd ITR, 49.2
5. Stock Mazda 3, 51.2
