here is the issue. they were up by 3 points. and its 4th down... here are your options:

1. kick a 28 yard field goal and go up by 6 points
2. go for it on 4th and 1 and keep the drive alive to go up by 10... requiring the other team to score twice.

well they went for it... and guess what... they didnt make it.... so this is what happens if you kick the field goal....

you are up by 6 points... the other team scores 7... you are down by one... well you only have to go kick a field goal to win the game... but when you dont do this... they are up by 4... forcing you to score a touchdown... which would mean moving the ball another 30 yards and God knows how much time it would take JMU to do so...

you kick the field goal and force the other team to score a touchdown... thats what you do when you run your mouth about how good the defense is in the media... obviously as much as the coach talked about the D he still didnt think they could pull it off so he went for it. Our coach needs to be in the unemployment line!
