ok boys and girls. i got us a nonsmoking room with two beds for friday the 20th and saturday the 21st. we will be at the sleep inn of danville. its on the main drag right next to the redneck bar/bbq joint! we are sure to have a great weekend. the room is $65 a night with our nasa membership so the total is $130-ish between how many? i'll be down early friday i guess to help with tech and such so i should be in the room first, if not... my cell number is 703-725-8084 if you need to call me for the confirmation number.

Just to clarify...I have not received any email (or anything else) regarding working the VIR event so I'm glad you got an answer from Laura. Anyone is welcome to contact me directly about working any event throughout the year or any other questions. You can use the racecontrol@nasaracing.net address but I get a ton of spam on it so if you don't get a reply fairly quickly try me at nasastarter@yahoo.com. Thanks for those that are coming. We are looking forward to getting back out there.

I'll also need to know anyone who is coming to work the event as well as their email address. I have the rules and regulations for the event that grid workers will need to study. We will be policing the pits to ensure that the Enduro drivers hold true to the rather strict rules that have been put in place.
02-06-2004, 03:19 PM
I would contact laura/mark for the information and have a meeting with the grid workers on saturday.
The enduro wont be until sunday, so why bother doing that?
02-06-2004, 05:46 PM
I may have found a ride up there, so maybe I can harrass you guys on station and throw sticks at passing cars. Don't put me on any list or anything, I probably won't know for sure until a couple of days beforehand.
Cool! 8)

.RJ Wrote:I would contact laura/mark for the information and have a meeting with the grid workers on saturday. Why the hell should I contact Laura/Mark when I can just get the info straight from the source. As for why I'm bothering to do it, it's an assload of rules, and you'll need more than a quick meeting to go over it (and if the workers screw up it's my ass on the line not theirs). So why not just go straight to the source, find out who's going, and email them the info since they are the only ones who haven't it and don't know what's going on. |
