Ok...at the risk of no one reading this thread, I decided to leave the NASCAR part out of that subject line. However.....the NASCAR IMAX movie at the Udvar-Hazy Air & Space museum is really good, as all IMAX movies are. They have some amazing garages in that movie...made me want to forget the whole nursing thing, go back to school, and be an engineer for NASCAR. My MOM even has a newfound appreciation for it. Anyway, it's a movie with a screen that's 5 stories tall about motorsports, and I highly recommend it.
At the risk of hijacking this thread - the Udvar-Hazy center is pretty damn amazing in and of itself. We're all into speed, and aerospace is where all the REALLY fast vehicles are...

Well, the $12 parking fee is a little steep, but it's worth it to see an SR-71 as far as I'm concerned. Word of advice, if you're going to take pictures there, be prepared for them to be really dark...it seems well-lit, but I guess it's not lit enough for my camera's flash.
The new facility out by Dulles is worth checking out. If you want a guided tour for the day it will cost you a lunch. And I'm serious if you missed the part where I know fighter pilots and planes I'm telling you it again now.
And of course Imax filmes rock though I probably won't see the nascar one.

I scored a bunch of sneak preview passes for the elliot in the morning showing of the movie when it first came out at the Udvar-Hazy. Took Ryan and a bunch of other friends. Pretty damn good movie. If you show up after 4:30 or maybe it's 4:00 they don't charge you for parking either.
