Well with NASA being a volunteer organization, it depends on the workers, officials, etc donating their time to make the event go smoothly. I would think that there would be priority placed to get workers track time when they want to 'cash in' credits.

Not to speak for Chris or Laura but there are actual economics involved with track rental and associated costs. 5 worker credits entrants is ~~1500.00 and Since NASA is a buisness and operates like one cash flow is important. Of course the worker credits have "value" equal to that but you can't pay bills with it. I do agree that whatever the number of worker credit spots there are, they should get priority BUT they need to plan far enough ahead and make the proper arrangements.

I would totally take the credits if I knew I was going to drive in the future and didn't think I'd have the willpower to save the money for an event later.
