I was approaching a left hand blind curve and there was roadkill in the road, i looked down to avoid it and by the time i had passed it by the turn was too my left so i rode the bike out in a grass field. The roadkill was right in my line and I must have fixated too long on avoiding it and missed the turn to the left. I slowed down to about 10-15 mph before falling off to the right. Ended up spraining my ankle and doing a good bit of damage to my fairings as well.

Falling is part of riding a bike - it is bound to happen sooner or later. If you can deal with them and enjoy the bike, keep it. If not, then sell it now and buy a nice car.

Well you know what you did wrong, don't do that again. If you feel like you have a problem with attentiveness then maybe I'd call it quits but most riders lay their bikes down within the first 6 months of owning them. Maybe take an advanced riding course or something.

Update
got clip yesterday. took motor out and stripped clip today and took shell to scrap yard. here in harrisonburg now picking up the car. tomm blown motor comes out. waiting on parts like clutch etc etc and sr is going in early next week. sorry my comp at home sucks but ill get pics up asap
