Makes sense to me, I wonder if it's applicable to motorcycle helmets as well? I'm looking forward to some independent test results.

If you're riding bicycles or motorcycles you should have some sort of MIPS or Wavecell in your helmet at this point. The jury is out which one is "Better" other than they are both good.

I dont know how this applies to car racing, though, since the main aim is to reduce concussions when falling on to the ground.

Interesting. Is there reason this isn't built into existing helmets? New tech?

wave cell is super new, but MIPS has been around for a few years.

When the bike store convinced me into a new helmet; that I got MIPS. I actually like the figment better too.
