that ASR kit I had offered to me free... NONE of my current wheels or budget friendly wheels would fit over it... and I'm limited to 15x7 wheels.... SO... it would have cost met +$4k in wheels to get a $2.3k brake kit that would have caused fitment/fender issues.
Kutil and Spencer both run the Wilwood setup. the "real benefit" is a weight savings... the stock ITR/MiniCooper setup is still on plenty of front running cars at the regional and national level.

I have a quick question that I know y'all will have the answer to. My last instructor had a sweet headset thing that made it possible to communicate. Now that the car is stripped, it's even louder than before and there's no way I could hear a passenger at WOT even if they're screaming. Do all instructors have these things? Does it make more sense to buy my own so I'm not relying on the instructor? What's the best setup if so without making my wallet cry too bad?

All instructors should have them. Available at OG Racing. Chatterbox is the "go to" but I know a couple came out recently that I dont have experience with first hand. I wouldn't worry about getting one if you dont plan on becoming an instructor.
For passengers, I just give the thumbs up and thumbs down.

Yes, that was the one my instructor had. I think I'll pick up a student headset (only 30 bucks) for my next event so im not dirtying up/wearing out my instructors headset. I dont think i'd be a good instructor for the near future so ill hold off on buying the whole thing. Thank you for the info!

Confirmed I'm getting my first press car and will be bringing it down for Hyperfest! Toyota is one of a few OEMs that's been interested in working with me/Out Motorsports, and they are providing a 2019 Tundra CrewMax Platinum for review. Going to tow the racecar with it, and Cobetto has given me his blessing to huck it around the off-road obstacle course for a few laps.
Probably doing the obstacle course on Friday afternoon if anyone wants to ride along and/or take photos and video.
Now:
'16 Ram 1500 | '97 BMW M3 | Some Press Loan

LOLOL. Figured I should ask since photos will look better if shot in the daytime All riders will be asked to leave their adult beverages outside the truck this time, too.

So the instructions are a bit unclear about ticketing. Do they have a list of registered drivers or do i need to do their 25 step bullshit in order to get in the gate showing them shit on my smartphone?
edit: it appears you have to jump through their hoops, not really sure why they couldnt just provide a list of people registered to skip this unnecessary step. No wonder there is back ups at the gate, this is ridiculous in this day and age of technology.
edit 2: I still dont see a schedule, it just says to meet at a "tech shed" at 715am saturday? No clue which building that is........

You can't miss the tech shed. It's at the far end of the paddock between timing and scoring and the concession area.
