I know it's a distance off...but I'm planning on buying a townhome after this semester...talk to me if you're interested in a room.

:? for me, moving off-campus allowed me to have less distractions (no roomate), and i did far better in school. although, i'm not too sure i was mature enough sophomore year to move off.... just points to ponder.

Same here. I wish I had moved off junior year though - I only lived off-campus my senior year. I lived close enough to walk to campus too, which got me some exercise and allowed me to *not* worry about a parking pass.

Id kill for no roomate. Although I am kind of happy about meeting a bunch of new people again, and living on the quad wont be bad I guess. My dad thinks college is the same as when he went 30 years ago, when he lived on till senior year.

i kinda wish i got to live on campus at some point at JMU, i've only lived in Sunchase. I think it'd be kinda nice to live on campus for its location and social network, but i think a townhome in foxhills would be best (IMO). I like the apartment a lot, but i'd much rather have a house.

I was a transfer so this was possible
