I'd like to come say hi saturday eve, but not sure I'm thrilled about $45-$55 for a 3-day pass being my only option, am I missing some more reasonable guy-who-just-wants-to-come-say-hi-and-have-a-beer ticket?

Same.  I was going to come down on Friday to watch the UTCC, but for $45?  Nope.
