Yeah so this was a big fat fale.

I wanted an ipod to act as a "smart" hard drive for the G.E. but it turns out the one I acquired won't work. I'd like to trade it for one that will (broken screen = don't give a shit) or sell it. I'll add cash on my end, that's nbd.

Anyway, it works just fine, no problems, it just won't talk to my Subaru head unit and that's the whole freakin' reason I got the damned thing. *sigh*.

I'd consider it if it does work with my car; same concept as what you wanted to do. However, i feel like if it didn't work in yours, it probably won't in mine.

Same exact ipod I have had since '05. Damn thing could take a direct meteor hit. Old tech FTMFW.
