In 18 months I would probably have gone through 5 cars...

...and 3 motorcycles.

"Here, at last, is the cure for texting while driving. The millions of deaths which occur every year due to the iPhone’s ability to stream the Kim K/Ray-J video in 4G could all be avoided, every last one of them, if the government issued everyone a Seventies 911 and made sure they always left the house five minutes later than they’d wanted to. It would help if it could be made to rain as well. Full attention on the road. Guaranteed." -Jack Baruth

DJ, buy the Cobra. You know you want to

To the OP, if you want regular updates on events in the spring keep checking the forum, you can also post or PM me your email and I'll put you on our mailing list.

Slightly OT, but I felt this thread was fitting to bring back some MM history...this is me over three years ago now at my first MM event, a September autocross in Verona. This guy's '03 had 455 to the wheels and it is still the craziest ride I've ever had...

Haha. Yeah, I'm kind of a Ford guy. Mustangs in particular. The long search wasn't so bad when I first started looking, but as time wore on I became more disappointed with every car I went to look at. Far too many cars were grossly misrepresented for what they actually were. Junk. I found out that one person's definition of mint doesn't always reflect the same as mine. Although I am extremely anal, so take that for what it's worth. LOL

I can't really remember now...I want to say he was from the Blacksburg area. He was up here attending the SCCA auto-x. When I asked him about the car he mentioned having a '98 Cobra that he wrapped around a tree before buying this car. Anyways I haven't seen him since, I found another picture:

Reason I ask is that I belong to an all Cobra club, the Mid-Atlantic Cobra Association. Didn't know if maybe he was a member as well. Most of the guys in the MACA are drag racers though. Check out our sub forum over on svtperformance.com under the taste of home section.

Hey!
Welcome to MM! I've seen your car around, it's sick! I'm a fan of the Cobra's! One of my most memorable ride alongs was at VIR in a cobra that went 146 MPH. It was great!
Our last meeting of this semester, is this Wednesday. Our next meeting will be some time in January. Just look on the homepage around that time and I'll be posting up about it.
Take care!

It's amazing how many of you guys have seen me riding around town, considering the very limited amount of time I drive it. LOL. I always kinda thought that I was under the radar, especially when some guy at a light down on Cantrell Ave. asked me if it had a V8 in it.

Where did you spot me?
