For those of you that don't know, MM has provided a worker of the year for the past I don't know how many years. This is an important honor for the club, so if you haven't come out the track yet, come out one weekend and get a chance to ride along in some cars on the track. Hell I heard that JJ, our race director was black flagging cars on saturday, just so MM'ers could get their ride alongs. Not that this would happen at all events, but know this, MM is well respected among the NASA-MA staff.

Congrats Sylvia!!! Definately deserved. She's there every time before we arrive to the track and she's there until after we leave.

And she's always so happy ;-).

J/K, we all love ya!

Congrats Sylvia! An award well deserved

That is correct, I went to the grid with four others to get them ride alongs. HPDE 3/4 was combined for the last session and there weren't many cars out there, so getting rides was tough on the grid. But when I asked, JJ and the others started bringing people in! I was blown away...very cool 8)

Congrats to Sylvia, and a BIG thank you to all involved in making the ride-alongs happen!! That was my first time to Summit/VIR/anything track and it was well worth it. I had a blast and will definitely be willing to do more when the next season starts.

Gotta get a rollbar (and money/credits) before I can track the Miata, but I'm game for working some and getting some rides Big Grin

A BIG, BIG, BIG thanks and Congratulations to Sylvia! We would not be able to do what we do without Sylvia's help. To all our participants, she has a familiar face in the tech shed, registration and everywhere around the track. Always with a smile no matter how early the day starts or what the chore is. She handles so well the smallest of details all the way up to the personalities (and egos????!!!!) of all our members and staff. She has always done things for the event that need to be done without being asked to do them ..including such things as.......

Cleaning out, sorting, and labeling anything and everything that has to do with registration, the party, the classroom, etc. Not just once a year, but EVERY weekend. And for the October event while the tech chief (Kaan) was in Florida on vacation, she let her OCD run wild on the tech cabinets too. (And she could completely run registration by herself at this point too!) She is a major part of the reason that we have fun and can put on these events.

Thank you Sylvia and see you in '09!!!!

Thanks everyone! I feel that NASA is a second family to me. I'd encourage everyone who hasn't been to an event to come out; you're guaranteed to get hooked.

I want to say thanks in a big way too.......

all goofing around aside, Sylvia really is a tremendous help all weekend long, she puts up with all of our shenanigans, my punk kid, good natured ribbing, and she does it all without ever getting on the track!!!

Our goal is to get her out there next season, in HPDE.

Thank you Sylvia.
