CarGuys at Summit Shenandoah July 19-20. FLAGGERS TOO

CarGuys is at Shenandoah July 19 and 20.

Over 2 hours track time per day (as much as some other clubs give you in a whole weekend)
plus skidpad time.

If you would like to flag, email or PM me no later than July 10. See the "CarGuys flagger program" thread in the stickys for the details. In short, flag 2 weekends, drive 1 weekend for free.

If anyone wants to come out, I will most likely have a passenger seat in my racecar and can give rides. There will be other people there to give rides as well. And free touring/parade laps at lunch of course.

And dont forget.... skidpad!

I would like to do this, however I won't know until the last minute possibly. Got a grand-dad on his last leg, so I've been trying to not make any definite plans on anything because I may have to break them for a funeral.

Do I need to sign up as an instructor? Tyler may want to instruct as well, is that possible?

yes, call up Aryan or fax the form on the website and write instructor at the top.

Tyler doesnt have enough experience to instruct,
he could sign up to drive in the beginner/ green group.

if you mean driving, yes you should be able to sign up a day or two ahead of time. just make sure your car is teched (tech form on the website) and all ready to go so you arent scrambling at the last minute.

if you mean flagging, then no. i need to know by this thursday.

Evan, I've emailed carguys and called twice and left voicemails with no return call. If you get in touch with someone at carguys, can you see whats up with instructing at lowes?

I wont see Aryan since this event is cancelled, so I would suggest just keep calling. He can be hard to reach since he runs the Teen driver education program too.

yeah, lack of student registrations.

the drawback to basing your program on a relatively small loyal user base (and large amounts of quality tracktime) is that when some people start sitting out events (due to gas price, economy, whatever) means you cant pay the bills.....
