i need a torque wrench

Sears has some cheap torque wrenches, that's all you need for anything outside the engine/transmission.

Anyone know of a good quality in/lb torque wrench? I may just suck it up and get snap-on so I know it is fucking accurate, but goddamn it is expensive.

Dude - I freaking LOVE my Snap On wrench. It's the digital one, so it beeps and vibrates at the specific torque. Plus, it displays what you _actually_ torqued the bolt to. I want another, but I can't justify the expense of a 3/8 AND a 1/4 digi wrench. You can usually find SnapOn/Matco stuff on Craig's List at a deep discount (I actually found a 1/4 SnapOn click type for $50 last night w/case).

I'm not near JMU, though, sorry OP.

I don't think it matters. I just need to torque each 8mm bolt to ~12lbs. I wont need it for a little bit tho I will let you know via AIM.

I dont have anything that goes that low accurately. mine are both over 20lbs...I needed em for other stuff than engine work.
