It takes you an extra 3 minutes to get home? I complain about a lot of shit but I never complain about traffic. I stopped getting bent about delays in getting somewhere a long time ago. Edit: I got hit a few years ago riding on the road. To and from the W&OD is about as much time as I spend on the road if I can help it... so intolerance of bicycles on the road is a bit of a sore spot.

Last I checked, riding a bicycle on the road isn't illegal.
When it comes to Ryan Jenkins, the story ends with me putting him in the wall.

"Here, at last, is the cure for texting while driving. The millions of deaths which occur every year due to the iPhone’s ability to stream the Kim K/Ray-J video in 4G could all be avoided, every last one of them, if the government issued everyone a Seventies 911 and made sure they always left the house five minutes later than they’d wanted to. It would help if it could be made to rain as well. Full attention on the road. Guaranteed." -Jack Baruth

I'm trying to figure out what he was doing that was illegal. Unless it was riding ON the yellows or something.

Sure. Bike riders have all the right in the world to be on the road. I just wish that around here (Winchester) that they'd ride with a little more common sense, ie not riding directly in the middle of the lane on some of the worst roads in the area for a) drivers driving like idiots, and b) blind curves during the busiest time of the day (5PM).
I'm not trying to start anything, but share the road goes both ways. On that topic, everyone on mopeds/scooters should be shot (moreso than cyclists). If there is one thing roads don't need, its uninsured jackasses with no licenses and 12 year olds and their best friend riding bitch on a motorized 2 wheeled vehicle thats no capable of moving more than 25mph. Either way, I guess I should just get over it all.
