She's Ready for the Track
#1
Since I have Cornerspeed on Friday, and I don't want to mess up my street plastics if the worst happens I did some searching. While I was gone at Bonnaroo these came in the mail.

I took my time over two nights to go ahead and prep the bike. Picked up the spare bolts for the saftey wire requirements so that Kaan could make use of his new drill press, and started stripping the bike down again.

Replaced street upper and mids with the 1 piece race upper, and also replaced the tail section.

With some more help from Kaan we got my spare tank painted so it was no longer that Rizla color scheme (which was actually Laguna Seca Blue).

At the end of Monday night.

Last night I swapped out the tank, attached the wind screen, and she's nearly done.

All that's left is to drain the coolant and replace it with water, safety wire the now drilled bolts, and then attach the lower.

Make sure you get some numbers on there.

Everyone and their mom is running flat/semi-gloss/gloss black on their bikes these days. The photographers can't always tell everyone apart so the easiest thing to do is slap a number on there.

Got the numbers sitting in my tool box ready to go on. Just wasn't sure about Cornerspeed's policy about number assignment so I was waiting till I get down there.

Cornerspeed doesn't assign numbers. It's a number free zone.
