More progress this evening. All the holes are drilled, and the bar lines up and bolts in. Need to paint the backing plates and do the final install tomorrow.
Dremel on the rear speaker housing to clear the bar
Then use a zip tie on the rear mount... seems solid, I dont see it going anywhere.
Going to have to dremel this a bit to make it fit flush, but otherwise perfect.

i dig it. can you retrofit more parts of a cage onto this one easily, or will you have to go with a totally new install if you want a full cage?

WTF!? How you get it in?
For those who don't already know, we got it in Monday, fit perfectly on the first try, drileld holes and took it back out to paint. Tuesday we come back and the fuckin thing won't fit in the car! After 3-4 hours of messing with it we give up.

To fit it in, the rear supports have to be tugged on and pulled together (towards the middle of the car) to fit flush onto the rear wheel houses.
So we had the panels in loosely, tilted the main hoop forward, slid the rear supports through the speaker holes and onto the main hoop while it was tilted forward. This alone took about 30 minutes of moving, tugging, fussing with the bars and rear trim panels. Once that's done, lock them in place with the bolts and force the bar into its home. Tighten all the bolts up, then snap the rear panels in place.
It took us about 2.5 hrs to finish everything up today.
