Tidewater SCC Autocross :: November 21
#1
Pretty sure David L and I are going to this. It's hosted on the ACU-4 naval base down in Norfolk, which is a really cool (and open, huge) location for an autocross.

Quoted from the Facebook event:

ODU Car Club Wrote:The event is held through Tidewater Sports Car Club, here is a link to their website where you will need to preregister for starting one week before the event.

Also, if you do not have a valid Military ID there is an access list that you must register for asap. This does not matter if you are racing or just spectating it is the only way to get on base without an ID. If you are co-driving or spectating and not driving your own car, when you register put both your personal car and the car you will be driving when you go. I will update with the last day to register for the access list.

If you are traveling from out of town and need a place to stay let us know and we will find room at one of our places for you.

Hope to see you out there!

Here's a link to the event on Facebook.

I live in Yorktown which is about a 40 minute drive or so from there so people are welcome to crash at my place saturday night if necessary. Are you guys trying to sign up for any specific heat?

Yea I was thinking about hitting the CDC event on Saturday.

For Sunday- (insert here) tiny DC-area baseball stadium lot just doesnt compare to the space down at ACU4.

no, in terms of space its a very small lot, but 40 minutes trumps 2.5 hours and u get way more runs with cdc cause its a test and tune.
