Clear bra DIYers please come in...

Has anyone here installed clear bra material before? Any tips or tricks, what and where to buy the materials, things of that nature. I'm not looking to buy a pre-cut kit with huge sheets of material, just some smaller pieces (maybe 12"x12"). Thanks guys.

buy it from Keith at <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.chuforiagraffix.com/chuforia_graffix/Home.html">http://www.chuforiagraffix.com/chuforia_graffix/Home.html</a><!-- m -->

i buy all my clear bra from him and its top notch, any size you want.
i have worked with him on a couple other projects too and he is a really great guy.
there are lots of videos online of how to do it, i have done small flat pieces and it was a breeze. The larger pieces with lots of bends look very hard, i watched a guy do the front of my car and it looked really tricky.
are you trying to protect your rear from those massive 315s spraying rocks all over the place?

I had the pleasure of removing a several year old clear bra off of my VW GTI - it was pretty torn up, a pain in the ass to remove and it took me a few hours to get the paint to look like it hadnt had something on it for several years. That said, I dont know what brand it was or who installed it but for a daily driven car I wouldnt use one without planning to replace it every 1-2 years.

My car gets driven 2k miles a year max, so the material shouldn't get beaten up that quickly. Plus I've been asking around on SVTP as to what brand to go with and all the guys over there swear by the 3M material as it's supposedly the best out. We'll see.
