SPK Summit Point 8/22
#1
As said from John Felton. I already reserved a team spot. One spot is me, the other is open (although preference goes to Pete for letting me always join in on his karting).

As some of you know, Summit Point has a fantastic new karting facility that is being managed by our very own Colin Jevens. See http://www.summitpointkart.com for more info.

Also as most of you should know, we hold "arrive & drive" twilight kart enduros whenever we go to VIR. Now we're doing the same when we go to Summit!

Our first enduro at SPK will be 90min (6:45p-8:15p) on Sat Aug 22 during the NASA weekend. Minimum of 2 drivers per team, $105 per team, nonmembers welcome. Click here for more info or to pre-register: https://www.nasaproracing.com/event/966

This will be held on SPK's Shenandoah Circuit configuration, not the Washington Circuit/Triple Skid Pad configuration. Spaces are definitely limited so if you are interested, grab a spot!

Not convinced yet? Ok, here's some great video of the place: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ya-EPWt42TU

Still not convinced? I have run there four times in the last week alone and can assure you that it's a blast. The karts are 13hp Sodi units capable of 45+ mph. The track is quick and twisty and surprisingly technical. It is quicker, grippier, and more fun than any other arrive & drive facility I have ever been to (VIR Plantation Valley, G-Force Karts, American Indoor Karting, Allsports GP, and F1 Boston.)

That link again is https://www.nasaproracing.com/event/966 ... prepare to be schooled by Team NASA Officials on Aug 22

If Pete wants it, no problem. It would actually be a lot of fun if we could get a few teams out there. I can reserve another team spot if we have any more interested members. Also, I really need to confirm that I can manage the time to make this happen but I'm pretty positive it will work.
