The Ballston Benz dealership is going to be expanding. They have a plan to build it out even more over the next 4 years

I swear everywhere you look in ballston there are new mercedes double stacked on lifts

I saw some comments earlier suggesting GM tier itself like Toyota's Lexus/Toyota/Scion with Caddy/Chevy/Saturn. It made a lot of sense in terms of tiered branding and consolidating mgt, and well, everything else. Blend the Cobalt and G6, G8 would be the new Impala and a few other seemingly good ideas. Dropping the Pontiac brand would be a step in that direction.

Funny how the pioneer of the muscle car goes away as the muscle car battle starts to heat up again.

I've read a few comments about the need for GM to reduce the dealer network (which this move would certainly do) but I can't seem to find out what advantage that provides. Anybody have any insight on that?

Lawrence Dodge here on Broad St. Richmond closed up about a month ago I think bought out by Pearson. Pearson opened up pretty much immediately a Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep, about mile up the road at Broad and Parham at their old Mercury location.

Also, Haynes Jeep, Chrysler closed up also located on Broad so yeah places around here are evaporating...

Just got my pontiac and now GM's about to close them up sounds like. Maybe the value will go up ha

Ive tried as hard as I can for as long as I can to support American Car makers (even if only in spirit when they dont have a car for me) but I would rather have my money go to support non-union american workers and a little profit go back to japan than send a dime to those corrupt union fuckbag shiesters.
