depends on the stock stereo head unit. in most cases, no.

it is if the amplifier can accept speaker level inputs. you can also buy line input convertors that take speaker level inputs and convert them to low level RCA output for amps without speaker level inputs.

Yes, you use a high level converter. They are really easy to put in.
