I'm sure y'all have seen the "MP3yourCar" type of forums where people stuff a small PC or Mac Mini under their dash with a touchscreen, replacing the head unit and doing all sorts of cool, hack-job, sort of stuff.

Check out this Toyota MR2 from Germany... he needs to lose the blingy rims, but it's definitely intriguing overall.

Every time I see that picture I get interested in what happened. I did some research and came up with a maritime shipping disasters page run by some folks in cargo law:

*edit* the containers that look like they should be in the ocean aren't because they are "lashed" together. I assume this is a special cargo form of lashing, and not a fancy version of what I've done with ropes and sticks. They're unsure of whether the containers were lost due to improper loading/securing or foul weather, or both. The ship encountered surge of up to 17,6 meters while at sea. The disaster that Adam referred to is also on the page - I'm having a hard time re-locating it.
