transmission fluid change
#1
So, I think my wagon needs the transmission fluid changed. can anyone in the burg possibly look at/smell the car with me to see if that's what i'm smelling? and if so, can anyone help me swap the fluids? although, i'm kinda worried that there are no fluids in the tranny...

If it has a dipstick like my suby does you can use that to check it. Gear oil always smells really bad in my opinion and has a pretty distinct smell. I can try to sniff around your car if you bring it to the meeting on Wednesday if you want.

Does it smell burnt? I change the fluid in the Miatas every year regardless (usually I change the whole trans. right Evan?)
