24 Hr Rennen

I am headed there from Friday-Sunday
My my brother in laws uncle is racing a Porshe GT3 Cup Car. He was having a M3 GTR prepared for the race, but it won't be ready in time. He is also racing the Mini Challenge. We have very nice VIP and crew passes too.

I had a great time!
Meeting and speaking with Boris Said was neat. Also having access to one of only 30 VIP lounges was nice. I got out to Adneau Forst, flugplatz, hatzenbach, and exm├╝hie too.
The Rimmer 06 STI placed 40th overall. Not bad in a 220 car field.
The Besa Group that invited me was out about 14 hrs into the race. The Motec shifting system in their Porsche Cup car broke. The same car (Porsche GT3 RSR) that won last year, won again. Sabine Schmitz finished 3rd overall.

I think that's the Lexus LF-A.

I drove a few laps with one of the race car drivers last year. He also took me for a few laps in an M5. Pretty neat track. Sure is narrow
This year I wanted to see the big race, which was especially nice with VIP access :o
