You cant really push start a big twin either - when Brian's ape died at the track they had 4 or 5 guys pushing it and they couldnt get it going. When I had a low battery charge I had my RC rolling down the hill at 25 mph and it wouldnt fire up - 2nd or 3rd gear it'd just lock up the back tire and sliiiiide.

Although when it is running, it sounds soooooooooooo good... I miss that about the RC. I dont miss riding a fat ugly pig though.

yeah pushing that POS ape and him on it was NOT easy.

relaly just keep it on a tender and you will be A okay.

fwiw i have had my ape for almost a year and have not had to change the battery.. just charge it once.
